Key Stage 4

How to know when you are in trouble with drugs and alcohol

A session which explores both illegal and legal substances and attempts to empower young people to recognise when they (or someone else) is in trouble and how to get help. [view pdf]

Sex & Substances

A double session that examines the connection between sex and substances as well as the many myths that exist. The sessions set out to explore the truth about how substances affect both males and females and the possible risks involved while being out of control. [view pdf]

Sex & Relationships Part 1

Opportunity for young people to understand what risks are being run by having unprotected sex and people’s responsibilities around contraception. This session explores the options available to a young person who is pregnant, the pressures this may put them under and the consequences of the choices they may take. The attitudes and views of the participants towards other young people’s sexual behaviour are explored from both a male and female viewpoint. [view pdf]

Sex & relationships Part 2

Opportunity for young people to understand what constitutes consensual sex. The sessions examine what is appropriate behaviour both in and out of a relationship and promotes the right to say no.
